C18 solid phase extraction(SPE) column

C18 (capped) SPE column was packed with octadecyl silica gel to retain nonpolar compounds through strong hydrophobic interaction. The filler can retain most organic compounds and is widely used in environment, food safety and other fields.

Technology advantage

Full coverage end capping reduces interference from alkaline and polar compounds;

It can be used in high pH environment.

Application

Detection of organic pollutants in soil, such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs);
